Compatibility

Runs on your broker —not just ours.

RSForex Bot works inside your own MetaTrader 5 on any broker or prop firm that offers a standard gold (XAUUSD) instrument. FTMO and OANDA are the ones we’ve tested — they are not a requirement.

  • Any MT5 broker with standard gold
  • Hedging & netting
  • ~$5k–$2M accounts

How it works

It adapts to your account —not the other way around.

Compatibility is decided by your broker’s gold instrument and your account, checked before a single trade. None of it depends on which firm’s name is on the account.

One real requirementXAUUSD~100 oz · USD · fully tradable
Compatibility checkRuns before any trade
  • It finds gold automaticallyThe executor scans your broker’s full symbol list and detects gold by name (XAUUSD, XAUUSD.sim, GOLD, and suffixed/prefixed variants) and by contract (an XAU base currency) — so an unusual ticker is still recognised.
  • One real requirementA standard gold instrument: roughly a 100oz contract, priced in USD, fully tradable. If your broker offers it, the bot runs. If it doesn’t, the bot refuses to trade rather than guess.
  • No broker allowlistThere is no list of “approved” brokers in the code. The compatibility check validates the gold instrument and your account — never the broker brand.
  • Hedging and nettingBoth MetaTrader 5 account modes work. The bot holds one position at a time, so it never depends on hedging to function.
  • Any account sizeIt auto-detects your balance and scales across tiers from about $5k to $2M. Risk is sized as a percentage of your balance, so the same logic runs on any size.
  • Your account currencyYour account can be denominated in USD or another currency; the gold instrument itself settles in USD. Your balance and currency are read from your terminal, not overridden.

Brokers & prop firms

Tested today,designed for the rest.

We’re specific about the difference, because pretending every broker is validated would be the fastest way to lose your trust.

Tested & validated Verified
  • FTMO — free trial, challenge, verification, funded, and swing accounts
  • OANDA — retail MetaTrader 5 accounts
  • MetaTrader 5 demo accounts (recommended for your first run)
Designed to run Not yet validated
  • Other MetaTrader 5 brokers and prop firms that offer a standard XAUUSD
  • Retail, challenge, and funded account types on those platforms
  • Validated case by case as customers bring them — not claimed as blanket support

Asking about a specific broker (IC Markets, Pepperstone, a particular prop firm)? If it offers MetaTrader 5 with a standard XAUUSD, the bot is designed to run on it — but we’ll only call it “tested” once we’ve validated it. RSForex Bot is an independent software product and is not owned, operated, endorsed, or guaranteed by FTMO, OANDA, MetaQuotes, MetaTrader, or any broker or prop firm. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Two honest caveats.

  • Non-USD account sizingNon-USD account sizing is still in testing. We read your account currency correctly, but we haven’t independently verified lot sizing on a non-USD account yet. If your account isn’t in USD, run a demo first.
  • A broker we haven’t seen beforeA broker we haven’t seen before may ask for a one-time profile confirmation in your dashboard before live trading, so the setup matches your account. Neither caveat is hidden. The dashboard shows the full compatibility report before anything trades.

Connect your MetaTrader 5 account, run the compatibility check, and see the report before a single trade is placed. A demo account is a fine place to start.
